What Is First Aid?

What is first aid

First aid refers to a situation in which a person is exposed to several conditions, such as anesthesia, injuries, allergies or respiratory infections.

The primary purpose of first aid is to detect and control the situation. It uses skills and knowledge learned in first aid training.

Why Do I Need to Learn First Aid?

Why Do I Need to Learn First Aid.

Emergencies occur like lightning, and it just takes one moment for everything to change. Keeping yourself composed in these situations is not easy. With first aid training, you can learn how to calm yourself while in a state of shock and help save lives. It prepares you to help others and yourself in life-threatening situations.

Moreover, learning first aid gives you the eye to see and identify possible risks around you and take the necessary steps to reduce them. Having a first-aid certificate is beneficial in life and your profession. Many workplaces and occupations prefer to employ people who know at least basic first-aid.

First aid certification will especially support hiring if you plan to work as a firefighter, electrician, nurse, or lifeguard. Furthermore, completing first aid training can also create Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.
