First aid is the emergency care given to someone who is sick or injured. Its purpose is to stabilise the sick or injured’s condition until professional medical help can make it to the scene.
First aid isn’t limited to immediate treatment of injuries but saves lives in near-death experiences and reduces an injured person’s pain. It can stop wounds from deteriorating and lowers the patient’s recovery time. To be supportive in times of emergencies, take the first step. Register for one of our first aid courses.
