How is the Course Delivered?
No Online Assessment required
Our HLTWHS005 Conduct manual tasks safely training doesn’t require any form of online quiz or skills assessment – all practical training and assessments are handled in class by your instructor.
It should be noted that prior to the start of the course, you will need to download and complete the pre-reading available from your online student portal once you’ve enrolled. You can work through this content at a time and pace that suits you, although you will need to have completed the material by the time your course begins, as it’s required knowledge for the course. There’ll also be a short quiz at the start of the training (as one of your course assessments) to test your knowledge of the pre-reading content.
There’s no set time to complete the course material, provided it’s completed in time for your training – exact times will vary between students. But it’s recommended that you allocate at least half a day to working through the content, to be confident of completing it in time.

Certificate Issued Same Day
Once you have completed the HTLWHS005 Conduct manual tasks safely course, you’ll be issued with a nationally recognised statement of attainment. This will be provided as a digital certificate within 24 hours, and on the same day where possible. Before issuing your certificate, First Aid Pro will require your valid USI (which you should have provided during enrolment). Failure to provide this – or successfully complete any of the assessment tasks during your training – will result in your certificate being delayed.
USI Requirements
To participate in the HLTWHS005 course, you’ll need a valid Unique Student Identifier (or USI) – as with any formal training in the last few years. A USI is a government-issued form of identification that provides you with a secure online record of any training you’ve undertaken. Anyone who’s studied since 2015 will have one already, but even if you don’t – they’re super easy to get and cost you nothing. Just jump on the USI website to get started.
Professional Health Trainers
We work specifically with highly qualified instructors who have extensive experience in their field. Each strives to provide an interactive training experience that’s engaging and fun for students. And there’s time enough for questions along the way, so be sure to take advantage of their experience if anything isn’t making sense.
